Dinosaur colours

It has often been speculated as to the colours of Dinosaurs, as it was previously thought that the fossilisation process does not lead to the preservation of colouration.. that is until recent finds unearthed in China had been studied more closely.

Sinosauropteryx is one of the first genus of Dinosaur (non-avian) to be found with fur-like feathers where evidence of colouration was still partly preserved.

So, without further nerdiness here is a recent illustration of this Therapod from Liaoning Province.
