American Quaternary Panorama

Armed with my digital camera I traipsed across the snowy fields in our village to take some reference shots of a marshy bit of land next to the cricket pitch... this was the starting point for the scene below. A Panorama of Quaternary North America featuring a few of the animals that roamed the earth then.

Ornimegalonyx, Teratornis, Bison Latifrons, Canus Dirus, Mammut Americanum and Castoroides Ohioensis all feature here. Commissioned by DeAgostini Japan.

Your spelling for the giant beaver cateroides ohioensis should have been castoroides ohioensis.
